We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and highly influential Distribution Channel Partner Manager to join our sales operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, nurturing, and optimizing our network of distribution partners, agents, and wholesalers. Whether you are expanding our market reach into new territories, negotiating high-level distribution agreements, or driving joint business plans to meet shared revenue targets, your leadership will be the catalyst for our market growth. Key Responsibilities
Partner Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire partner journey, from prospecting and onboarding new distributors to monitoring performance and implementing exit strategies for underperforming partners.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute joint business plans with key distribution partners to align on sales targets, territory expansion, and product penetration strategies.
Channel Optimization: Analyze distribution performance metrics to identify gaps in market coverage. Optimize route-to-market strategies to improve efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and maximize product availability.
Relationship & Conflict Management: Maintain senior-level relationships with distributors. Proactively resolve conflicts regarding territorial overlap, pricing policies, or inventory distribution to ensure a harmonious channel ecosystem.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Define and track KPIs for all partners (e.g., sell-through rates, inventory turnover, payment compliance). Provide regular insights to management on channel health and competitive trends.
Training & Enablement: Ensure our distribution partners are well-equipped to represent our brand. Organize product training sessions, share marketing collateral, and align partners on company sales policies.
Program Implementation: Roll out incentive programs, trade marketing initiatives, and volume-based loyalty schemes to motivate partners and drive sustained engagement.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in Channel Management, Wholesale Operations, or B2B Key Account Management. Experience in the FMCG or relevant retail distribution sector is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong financial acumen to analyze partner P&L, margins, and sales forecasts.
Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems for tracking orders, inventory, and partner data.
Expertise in negotiation and contract management.
Deep understanding of supply chain and logistics processes as they relate to distribution.
