We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of complex mechanical systems and components. In this role, you will be responsible for taking products from initial concept through to final manufacturing, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. You will utilize advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software and analytical modeling to solve engineering challenges, improve existing machinery, and innovate new mechanical solutions. Key Responsibilities
Design & Development: Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes for mechanical parts, assemblies, and complete systems.
Engineering Analysis: Conduct stress, thermal, and dynamic analysis to ensure structural integrity and operational performance under various load conditions.
Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the construction of prototypes, conduct hands-on performance testing, and analyze data to refine designs and resolve performance failures.
Manufacturing Collaboration: Provide technical support to production teams, ensuring designs are optimized for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
Material Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate materials and components, balancing factors such as durability, cost, weight, and environmental sustainability.
Documentation & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, manuals, and compliance reports to ensure all designs meet regulatory safety and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement: Investigate mechanical failures and performance bottlenecks to identify opportunities for design upgrades and cost reductions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in product design, machine design, or systems engineering is highly valued.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Pro/ENGINEER).
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
Strong grasp of mechanical principles, kinematics, thermodynamics, and material properties.
Familiarity with CNC machining, injection molding, or additive manufacturing processes.
