We are seeking a meticulous, trustworthy, and highly organized Maid and Housekeeping Cleaner to ensure our residential or hospitality spaces maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hygiene. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily deep cleaning and upkeep of private rooms, guest suites, restrooms, and living areas. You will balance time efficiency with an exceptional eye for detail, ensuring that every space is perfectly arranged, sanitized, and welcoming. Key Responsibilities
Room Cleaning & Sanitization: Dust, polish, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors across bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and common spaces to eliminate dust and allergens.
Bed Making & Linen Care: Strip, change, and replace bed sheets, pillowcases, and blankets; organize soiled laundry and ensure clean linens are neatly pressed and folded.
Restroom Upkeep: Thoroughly scrub and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and mirrors, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and sanitary.
Amenity & Supply Restocking: Monitor and restock room essentials, including towels, toiletries, toilet paper, soap, and complimentary refreshments.
Waste Disposal: Empty trash receptacles, replace bags, and transport garbage, recyclables, and hazardous materials to designated disposal areas.
Damage & Deficiency Reporting: Inspect rooms during cleaning and promptly report any maintenance issues, broken fixtures, or lost-and-found items to supervisors.
Chemical & Equipment Handling: Safely operate vacuum cleaners, steam mops, and other specialized appliances; handle and store chemical cleaning solutions strictly according to safety protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; formal training or certification in professional hospitality cleaning is a significant asset.
Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in professional housekeeping, residential maid services, or hotel room styling.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in utilizing residential and commercial cleaning appliances, including heavy-duty vacuums and floor polishers.
Comprehensive knowledge of different cleaning chemicals, stain-removal techniques, and safe application on sensitive fabrics or surfaces.
Basic understanding of digital logging systems or mobile apps used to update room readiness statuses.
Personal Attributes:
High physical stamina and flexibility; capable of lifting up to 35+ lbs, kneeling, bending, and staying active on your feet throughout long shifts.
Exemplary attention to detail, ensuring even the smallest corners and surfaces are perfectly clean and orderly.
Absolute integrity, trustworthiness, and respect for privacy when working in personal or occupied spaces.
Strong time-management skills with the ability to pace yourself efficiently to meet strict room-turnaround deadlines.
