Planning and forecasting - Prepare revenue and cost projections. - Support business partners to produce the annual sales target and budget. - Forecast monthly, quarterly, biannual or annual profits and provide analytical review, feedback, and recommendation to executive management. 2. Performance analyzing and monitoring - Provide commentary to be included in the monthly business performance review and report. - Compare actual results with forecasted to analyze and identify areas of strengths, weakness, improvement. - Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports. - Lead revenue / margin / contribution reporting and explanation of performance against budget, prior performance and market conditions. - Highlight future risks and opportunities by reforecasting the in-year expected results. 3. Provide meaningful analysis and collaborate to produce insight - Use internal and external information to extrapolate future performance based on scenario planning. - Understanding key business drivers. - Conduct an in-depth research of historical financial data; analyze and report company’s current financial status. - Work with business partners to turn analysis into value adding insight. 4. Finance projects - Study investment options and present SWOT of the investments. - Conduct financial research in support of project feasibility and due diligence requirements. - Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities. - Developing financial projections and building financial models. - Coordinate with the Finance Controller and the executive team on long-term financial planning 5. Manage strategic objectives - Support the production of commercially viable business cases to deliver the strategic initiatives - Turn strategic initiatives into budget deliverables - Turn the strategic plan into strategic objectives - Work with business partner to produce the strategic plan using insight analysis - Monitor and track the delivery of strategic initiatives 6. Other requirements - Maintain confidentiality of financial information, investment decisions, or any other tasks assigned by the organization. - Train and mentor junior analyst and other staff on best financial practices - Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations. - Any other responsibilities and ad-hoc reports by manager. Yêu cầu kỹ năng 1. Education & Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Finance & Accounting, Corporate Finance, Economics, Business or related field. - Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a senior financial analyst, financial analyst, financial planning, analysis, modeling, or in a similar position. Knowledge of the Retail market is preferable. 2. Required Skills and Abilities: - Possess strong attention to details, organizational and multitasking skills. Time management skill is required. - Ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly, detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment. - Strong critical thinking, analytical thinking, systematic problem-solving skills. Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively. - Ability to work well independently and better in a team. - Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience. - High proficiency with the use of MS office, especially Excel (intermediate and above) and Power-Point, and SAP or related financial systems. VBA/Power Query, Python are preferable. - Excellent communication in both verbal and written, interpersonal and presentation skills. - Good communication in English spoken & written skills. - Possession of any of CFA, CPA, ACCA, MBA certification is an added advantage.
