Mô tả công việc PURPOSE : Key areas of responsibility will include spend analysis, material & labor variance analysis, forecasting, KPI (key performance indicators) management and reporting, asset safeguarding, and evaluating/tracking cost out opportunities. Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site Analyze variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions. Shares best practices across global finance team, e.g. process improvements, financial modeling and procedures changes Provides proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions. Collaborates with Plant Director, Plant accountants and senior management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis. Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks Ensures proper accounting in accordance with VAS and IFRS Principles as well as local statutory requirements WORK DUTIES 1. Spend Analysis and Control: 1.1. Help investigation in weekly/monthly dashboard of spending, highlighting opportunities for improvement. 1.2 Support analysis and commentary of drivers behind variances, month to month vs. prior year, and forecast and budget. 1.3 Review production variances (materials & labor) with management and help drive to root cause – in particular help collection of scrap data by area. 1.4 Collate labor straight time and overtime daily and review with plant management. 1.5 Ensure correct codifications of expenses are in line with company standards. 1.6 Monitors spending on key categories to include maintenance, supplies, and consumables, and support company initiatives to reduce spending. 1.7 As needed, capture relevant material content, scrap, crew size, throughout rates of work centers for use in updating standard costs. 2. Costing: 2.1 Prepare Standard Costing and Monthly Actual Costing for Site 2.2 Estimate product costs to support quoting activitiesKPI & Financial Management: 3. KPI & Financial Management: 3.1 Review weekly KPI data with management; understand trends and help analyze root causes. 3.2 Ensure new KPIs are correctly implemented in line with company standards. 3.3 Work with management on the key 3 to 5 identified initiatives. 3.4 Must work across organization boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve plant objectivesForecasts: 4. Forecasts: 4.1 Help prepare forecasts and the annual budget for the Company. 4.2 Support preparation of budget, forecasts, and monthly bridges. 4.3 Review with management and ensure comprehension of forecast.Asset Safeguarding: 5. Asset Safeguarding: 5.1 Perform inventory cycle counts inter-month and period-end physicals in-line with Company instructions, document results, and suggest improvements. 5.2 Support working capital improvement plans. 5.3 When required, participate in capital expenditure development, and post spend audit.Cost Out: 6. Cost Out: 6.1 Work with management team to develop a database of cost out opportunities. 6.2 Key member of team driving implementation of cost out opportunities.Other: 7. Other: 7.1 Attend monthly operations meetings and present financial results to ensure management team are aligned with the performance of the company. 7.2 Ensure robust financial controls are in place and are following financial policies. 7.3 Support plant management in ad hoc exercises. Advanced knowledge of Excel required Excellent attention to detail Manufacturing ETP (enterprise resource planning) experience preferred. High energy and strong curiosity Bachelors’ degree in Account, finance or related Excellent written and oral communication Comfortable walking the manufacturing floor daily Ability to look for new ways for the company to improve
