Mô tả công việc The role provides the link between the “Brand” (SF Development and SF Design Teams) and the suppliers (material vendors), to ensure that the materials selected and sourced are fit for purpose or better. Work closely with SHOEfabrik’s internal teams to fully support their needs. Select or develop materials to meet brand/designer briefs – considering brand or SHOEfabrik’s spec. Collect details of any new materials/suppliers being specified by brand from the Development Team. Contact suppliers to ensure SF has a direct relationship.  Oversee in detail, all the materials being used for designated brands on seasonal basis. Collect full information for all materials and maintain through the season. Advise on the evaluation of existing supply base and assist in finding consolidation options to benefit SF or its customers.  Evaluation/risk assessment & reporting of new materials as they come into the sample room. Evaluate all suppliers for lead-time & On-Time performance and report as required.  Recommend alternative options for like-for-like materials that meet price targets, delivery needs and material performance. Research new materials and potential suppliers, visiting trade fairs as required. Assist in seasonal forecast & price negotiations. Regular presentation of new materials to appropriate internal stakeholders. Assist in settling any quality issues between shoe factories and suppliers. Develop strong relationships with strategic suppliers, including regular visits. Maintain the main library of SHOEfabrik’s color master system for all materials, so the central filing system must be maintained. Build, maintain and manage relevant material toolboxes.
