Job Description The Academic Manager role is responsible for the efficient running of our internal English Communication program including content creation, timetabling, testing and the ongoing provision for support and guidance to the English training team. Reporting to the Operations Manager LD&P this is a senior role within the business significantly impacting the customer experience and overall business performance. 100% of our customers are native English speakers therefore, providing our staff with the skills required to communicate with them daily is essential to our ongoing success. Roles & Responsibilities: • Develop lesson plans that utilize a broad range of appropriate teaching techniques • Address all aspects of communication through appropriate instruction that develops each student’s ability to read, write, speak, and listen • Administer academic and language assessments for the purpose of evaluating student progress for meeting academic learning targets and progress in language acquisition • Maintain complete and accurate records of student progress • Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages student responsibility and incorporates challenging instructional strategies • Adapt curriculum to provide individual, small group, and/or remedial instruction as to meet the needs of individual students and subgroups of students • Create relaxed English Environments as place to practice including the use of social media and other non-traditional tools • Conduct classroom observations with intent to improve both trainers and students • There is an expectation that the academic manager will also participate with some English training sessions. • Translations as required • Other reasonable duties as requested Quyền lợi được hưởng Chế độ bảo hiểm Đồng phục Chế độ thưởng Chăm sóc sức khỏe Đào tạo Tăng lương Nghỉ phép năm Yêu cầu kỹ năng ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: • Qualifications / experience : University degree • English level at least (CEFR) C1/ IELTS 8.0 or equivalent • Experience within the English-speaking industry with an in-depth knowledge of the Vietnamese language. • Technical knowledge and skills: Be able to demonstrate the ability to create, conduct and review a wide variety of ESL workshops and programs • Communication / Presentation: Able to communicate effectively to transfer the analytical findings to the SMT using a range of methods (graphs, charts, PowerPoint) POSITION CHARACTERISTICS: • Take Responsibility / Ownership: Take ownership and responsibility for actions and decisions.
